Golden Visa Requirements

There are four ways to be eligible for a Golden Visa.

  • 1.

    Invest in the country’s real estate for at least €500,000. This can be an investment for a single unit of real estate or the overall worth of several real estate assets.
  • 2.

    Purchase shares in a company in Spain or make a deposit in a bank for a minimum of €1,000,000.
  • 3.

    Invest at least €2,000,000 in the Spanish Treasury Bond.
  • 4.

    Build a new business that would generate work opportunities, socio-economic impact, or innovations in science and technology.

You should also meet the following requirements:

  • Legal age
  • Have stellar records (no criminal history)
  • Never been denied a Schengen Visa
  • Have health insurance in Spain

Document Required

  • Financial documents showing you have the means to support yourself and your family in Spain
  • Police records issued within three months of application to confirm you don’t have any criminal history
  • Proof of investment (for real estate investment, provide the certificate from the Land Registry dated within three months of your application)
  • Proof of health insurance in Spain
  • Valid passport with at least two blank pages
  • Two passport-sized ID photos that meet the guidelines for the Spanish visa
  • Visa application form
